How we compared them (and our bias)
We make Chandler, so read this with that in mind. To keep it fair, every fact about another tool comes from that vendor's own public website, checked on 19 October 2026, and is written as their claim ("Tidal says…"), not as something we tested. Where a vendor doesn't say, we write "not published". Prices, features and claims change, so check each vendor's site before you decide.
If you work at one of these companies and something here is wrong or out of date, email info@ifsolutions.lk and we will correct it.
We left out marketplaces and buyer-side tools (ShipServ, ProcureShip, Sedna, fleet-management ERPs). They matter to chandlers, but they are not software for running a chandler's own quotes, orders and accounts. More on ShipServ below.

What about ShipServ?
ShipServ (part of Marcura) is a marketplace where ship buyers send RFQs to suppliers. It is where many requisitions come from, not a system to run your quoting, purchasing, delivery and accounts. Most chandlers use a marketplace and their own software. ShipServ also hosts a free IMPA code search.
How to choose ship chandler software
- Test it on your own inquiry. Most vendors here offer a demo. Send a real, messy requisition (a photo, a PDF with no IMPA codes) and time how long it takes to get to a quote you would actually send.
- Decide where accounting lives. If you already run NetSuite, Dynamics or SAP, an integration-first tool (like Tidal) may suit you. If you run on spreadsheets plus a small accounting package, a system with finance built in avoids a second project.
- Follow the order past the quote. The quote only wins you the work. Check supplier POs, goods received, packing, delivery, returns and invoicing from delivered quantities.
- Ask for the full price in writing: setup, monthly fee, users, AI usage limits, changes and the minimum term.
- Ask how long to the first live quote, and whether you have to import a catalogue first.
